Dry trails!! WAHOO!! THIS means that we're goin' TRAIL running!! In fact, our trail running group began last night, and will continue to happen every Tuesday night at six until such time as it is deemed too flippin' cold and miserable to keep it going in the fall. The group meets in the parking lot behind Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School (which is on the corner of Erbsville Road and Laurelwood Drive) and dives headlong into the challenging network of trails that begin there. Now this group is not necessarily for the beginner runner - the footing can be pretty treacherous and the hills pretty constant and steep; one ought to have a reasonable base of fitness before tackling these. That being said, we'd love to see y'all out for it!! It's a fantastic (and constantly growing) group, and everyone has a blast. (Oh... and t'ain't no cost for it, either... it's entirely free.)
