Our "Let's Start Running" group is winding down... our Marathon group has only just finished and our Oktoberfest Clinic has been over for a month. But be not disheartened, mes amis - the next round will begin soon... VERY soon. Within the first week of the new year, our next beginners' run group, marathon clinic AND Refridgee-Eighter clinic shall begin!! We have interest lists for all of these programs now on the go at the shop, so call in to get your name on the list or for more details!!

Looks like we'll be moving some time in January, but we need to start clearing out some of the old inventory so we're not all cluttered in our new home (which'll be right around the corner, 255 King Street North). With that in mind, we're selling off some of the older shoes at up to 70% off!! Summer clothing up to 60%!! WHOA!! We also have some of the more recent shoes on sale, like the Triumph 6, going at 25% off. This'll be on until we sell out of everything, but selection will dwindle so hurry in soon!!

Contrary to what it says in our recenty-delivered flyer (which I also wrote... like an idiot), our next "Let's Start Running" group begins on Monday, September 14th, NOT the 7th... which is, in fact, Labour Day. We're not even OPEN that day. But anyhoo - there you have it!! Come out and join us on the 14th for this free beginners' run group and build yourself up gradually towards a consistent and maintainable run!! It's a run-walk format, you see: at first you start out "running" for a minute, then walking for a minute, then "running" for a minute, walking for a minute and so on.

We will be collecting (gently) used running shoes for the next week and at our tent at the Waterloo Classic on June 21st. They will be sent to runners in Ethiopia, so bring out all the old runners that are cluttering your closet and donate them to a good cause!!
